Members of the ULAB Nutrition and Wellness Club hosted their 3-day flagship event, “The Food Carnival 2022,” on the ULAB campus starting July 18, 2022, a press release said Thursday.
The food carnival encouraged students to show off their talent in the food and beverage industry and improve their networking and entrepreneurial skills.
The Treasurer of the Bangladesh University of Liberal Arts, Professor Milan Kumar Bhattacharjee and Lt Col (Ret’d) Md Foyzul Islam were present among others.
The event was covered by documentation partner, ULAB Film Club, and media partner, ULAB TV, respectively.
The flagship event was coordinated by Club President, Nur E Nasreen Joty, along with 40 volunteers, who were tasked with manning the stands to ensure the success of the event.
A cultural program including dance performances, solo singing and an unplugged concert by the group “Psychopaths” was organized during the closing session.
