Pran-RFL Bags `Bangladesh Business Award-2021′

Pran-RFL Group, the country’s leading business conglomerate, has received the “Bangladesh Business Award-2021” in recognition of its contribution to the business sector. Planning Minister MA Mannan presented the award to Pran-RFL Group Chairman and CEO Ahsan Khan Chowdhury at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in the capital on Friday evening.

This year, the “Bangladesh Business Award” was given to two organizations and one individual in three categories, according to a press release.

The Pran-RFL group received the prize in the “company of the year” category. The international logistics organization DHL and the English newspaper The Daily Star have jointly awarded this prize to various organizations since 2000 in recognition of their contribution to the overall economic development of the country.

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury said, “The aim of the Pran-RFL Group is to enhance people’s dignity and self-esteem by creating employment opportunities through business activities. We are constantly working towards this goal. This recognition will greatly encourage us to move forward”.

The journey of the Pran-RFL Group began in 1981 by Rangpur Foundry Limited (RFL) manufacturing tube wells and agricultural support equipment to provide pure drinking water and agricultural irrigation water to the poor in the north from the country.

In 41 years of history, the Pran-RFL Group is today a large family, which plays a major role in the socio-economic development of the country through the employment of 145,000 people.

This employment is the highest in the private sector in the country.

At present, the Pran-RFL group has factories in 25 locations in the country. Currently, the group regularly exports products to 145 countries around the world.
