Flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, is showcasing its new business class seating offering to the travel industry at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) from May 9-12. The new reclining seat will be phased into the business class cabin of flydubai’s fleet as part of an ongoing investment program in product development.
The carrier goes to the main world event to present the new seat which will be displayed on its stand. The carrier’s signature business class sleeper seat, which is currently available on its fleet of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, will also be on display.
The new business class reclining seat, developed by HAECO, was designed by JPA Design to reflect the design values of Thompson’s innovative flat bed seat which is available on flydubai’s Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 9. The new seat features the same high-quality materials along with comparable design principles to optimize passenger space and comfort.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Managing Director of flydubai, said: “flydubai is committed to providing its customers with an unparalleled passenger experience. We have implemented a number of product enhancements since the introduction of our first business class seat in 2013 and the new reclining seat will see our offering reach new heights, exceeding customer expectations. This seat, which is particularly well suited to medium and short-haul flights, will allow us to have a more uniform look and feel on board our fleet.
flydubai introduced the new business class reclining seat on one of its aircraft in November 2021. The airline will roll out a modernization plan for a number of its existing aircraft, along with the installation of the new class cabin product deals on future aircraft deliveries.
